MEET HOLTON
Holton Mills is a Seminole County public school graduate and education advocate.
Holton’s belief in career and technical education was shaped as a high school student in a career academy that allowed him to gain real-world job experience on campus through a partnership with Addition Financial Credit Union. That early exposure to hands-on learning and mentorship helped set the course for his career and inspired his commitment to connecting education with real opportunity.
Holton spent nearly seven years at Addition Financial Credit Union, most recently serving as Associate Manager of Community Relations & Partnerships. In that role, he acted as a liaison between the credit union and communities across Greater Orlando, building and managing partnerships with schools, nonprofits, and local organizations to expand financial literacy, career pathways, and economic opportunity for students and working families.
Earlier in his career, Holton worked in the Office of Communications for Seminole County Public Schools, supporting the district’s community involvement efforts, managing volunteer programs, assisting with districtwide events, and helping share the stories of Seminole County’s A-rated schools.
Today, Holton works as an Account Executive at evōk advertising, partnering with financial services clients to align marketing strategy with organizational goals and lead data-informed campaigns, an experience that strengthens his ability to communicate clearly, manage complex projects, and deliver results.
Holton also serves as Board Chair of the Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools, helping raise resources and support innovative programs that benefit students and educators across the district.
Holton is running to keep Seminole County’s schools strong, safe, and future-ready so every student, in every neighborhood, has access to the opportunities they deserve.

Holton will prioritize campus safety, student mental health, and whole-child support so students and educators can focus on learning.
Career Pathways & Public-Private Partnerships
Holton will expand career and technical education by building stronger partnerships with local employers, business leaders, and community organizations, creating clear pathways from classrooms to certifications, apprenticeships, and good-paying jobs.
Student Success
Holton will champion academic excellence alongside wraparound services that address barriers like housing instability, food insecurity, and access to basic needs.
